  McDonnell Group provides the responsibility for monitoring the construction process to ensure conformity to the architectural plans which were designed to meet the client's needs. Having knowledge of the local codes and zoning requirements, experience with providing these services for similar projects, and the ability for quick resolution of any concerns, collectively provides an efficient construction team.

• Constructibility Review

  For the construction of new buildings or renovation of existing structures, McDonnell Group meticulously reviews drawings and specifications for errors, omissions and coordination between trades. An exhaustive check of plans is performed to determine clarity, completeness and compliance with known building codes and regulations. These reviews include civil, structural, architectural, mechanical and electrical; and result in minimizing bid phase addendums and construction phase coordination, which ultimately saves the client money.

• Lender Services

  McDonnell Group offers project review services to permanent and construction Lenders. These services include contract document review and monthly on-site review of construction activity. The Lender's interest is represented during the construction phase with such services as review of work in progress for compliance with documents, cost tracking and schedule analyses. McDonnell Group's experience affords the investor enhanced assurance of the ultimate quality of the project, consistent with the requirements of the construction documents and the loan commitment.

• Property Condition Assessments

  McDonnell Group can provide a complete range of expertise in analyzing the condition of the total facility or a selected component. This service provides property descriptions, maintenance needs, property deficiencies and improvement analysis; probable cost of repair/replacement of property components; energy conservation or expansion analysis; review of code compliance and construction compliance with documents; and condition reviews of structural, mechanical, electrical and other building systems.

• Seismic Retrofit & Repair

  Following the 1994 Northridge Earthquake, individuals now part of the McDonnell Group staff, mobilized to provide inspection services on a pro bono basis to affected residents of the Los Angeles area. In addition, McDonnell Group performed earthquake damage assessments of more than 85 structures while under contract with various clients. We apply our seismic upgrade expertise, and provide program management, reconstruction & restoration design and cost estimating services to insurance companies, Homeowner Associations and property owners & managers.

• Roof Consulting

  McDonnell Group's roofing specialists provide complete consulting services, including moisture surveys, problem identification, testing and analysis, and corrective design and documentation. Construction monitoring services can be provided on-site as either a periodic or fulltime representative of the building owner. McDonnell Group can provide clients with cost effective alternatives and solutions.
